Brush Brush Brush Your Teeth is a tooth-brushing song for toddlers and preschoolers, and it's coming soon to LumiLand. It teaches toddlers and preschoolers to brush all over in little circles (top and bottom, front and back) during a two-minute brush-along, then spit out the toothpaste. Lumi and Ray show the way, and Bobo, who forgot to brush, gets a lot of help from his friends.
The story
It's morning in Lumi's bathroom. Lumi smiles at the mirror: "ting!" A sparkle flashes on her teeth. Ray smiles: "ting!" Then Bobo smiles big, and nothing happens. Lumi gently asks if he brushed this morning, and Bobo answers with a long "Hmmmm…". So everyone pitches in to help Bobo brush and win his sparkle back.
The main song is an original LumiLand brushing song. Its last line is one little ones will soon know by heart: "Brush in morning, brush at night!"
A brush-along for real brushing time
The heart of the episode is a two-minute brush-along. Tuki flips a sand timer, a star slowly fills up, and the friends sing their way through top teeth, bottom teeth, front teeth and back teeth, with little gentle circles. Halfway through, Bobo gets carried away and hums the song through a mouthful of bubbles. You could play this part at the bathroom sink and brush along together.
There's more after that. The friends spit and rinse, and Bobo has to be reminded not to drink the rinse water. A food game asks which snacks are kind to teeth, and there's no shaming of treats: "Treats are okay sometimes." The friends even brush a hippo's giant teeth. Then they rinse their toothbrushes and stand them up to dry. At the end, Bobo's smile gives the biggest "ting" of all.
